Lower Kindleberger Park around the sunken garden
The Kindleberger Summer Festival provides fun for everyone in the family – especially the youngest of Festival-goers! Offering a wide variety of hands-on and learning activities to entertain children (and grown-ups) of all ages, this free event features:
- Bounce House and Inflatable Obstacle Course provided by T&L Rental and Inflatables
- 2 Duck Ponds
- Kids Makers Market
- Kid’s crafts
- Kalamazoo Township Fire Engine
- Galesburg United 4-H Club & Cavies & Critters Project – 4-H animal Science Exhibits
- Air Brush Tattoos
- Face Painting
- GIANT Yard Games – Checkers, bowling, and Jenga
- Mystery sucker games
- Magician Alan Kazam!
- Crescendo Academy of Music – Drum Circle and Fiddlers
- Arty the Clown
- Kalamazoo Astronomical Society
- Dunk Tank – bring your dollars and a good aim, 3 balls for a dollar.

The activities and fun in the Children’s Area begin at 10 am in the lower park and go until 2 pm.
