5K Race & Fitness Walk

Saturday, July 15th

The Kindleberger Summer Festival 5K and Fitness Walk will start our Festival Day at 7:30 am. The annual run/fitness walk has become an integral part of the Kindleberger Summer Festival as hundreds of participants at all levels and abilities join this invigorating Festival Day event! Starting in beautiful Kindleberger Park, the 5K course winds through the tree-lined streets of the City of Parchment, bringing runners and walkers back to the finish line in lower Kindleberger Park where participants can then join in the fun of the Kindleberger Summer Festival of the Performing Arts! It’s a great way to get the entire family involved. Join us on July 15th!

Start/Finish in Lower Kindleberger Park.

Parking

Please park at the Parchment Middle School, 307 N Riverview Dr, and streets west of Riverview Drive in and around the Middle School.

Packet Pick Up

Early Friday Packet Pickup – July 14, 2022: Lower Kindleberger Park, Corner of Maple Street and Park Avenue – 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday Packet Pickup – July 15, 2022: Lower Kindleberger Park, near start line – 6:30 am to 7:00 am.

Starting Times

5K Run and Fitness Walk – 7:30 AM

Registration Fees and Dates

Online registration is open through 7:15 am, Saturday, July 15.

*Please Note: Registration will be open thru Saturday, July 15 for LATE SIGN-UPS. However, you must sign up on your computer or smartphone prior to coming to registration and packet pick up. There will be NO ONSITE COMPUTERS.

5K Run/Fitness Walk – $35.00
The price of registration includes a short sleeve shirt and finisher medal.
To guarantee a shirt you must register by 11:59 pm, June 30, 2023.

Tee Shirts

Shirts are 4.5-ounce 50/25/25 poly/combed ring spun cotton/rayon. Youth, Women’s, and Men’s sizes. (Women’s is a relaxed women’s cut.) To guarantee a t-shirt, registration must be made prior to June 30, 2023.

Awards

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given in each category.

9 yrs and Under
10 – 13 yrs
14 – 16 yrs
17 – 19 yrs
20 – 24 yrs
25 – 29 yrs
30 – 34 yrs

35 – 39 yrs
40 – 44 yrs
45 – 49 yrs
50 – 54 yrs
55 – 59 yrs
60 – 69 yrs
70+ yrs

Timing

Timing and scoring will be done by Classic Race Management. Results will be posted immediately after the event concludes at www.Runsignup.com

Additional Info:

Strollers are permitted, however, we ask runners/walkers pushing strollers to stage in the back.

No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, or dogs are permitted in the race.

There are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.

T-shirt with every registration paid before June 30th, 11:59 pm!
